I feel like the words remake/remaster are used basically at random very often and there's little to go by there, but I can understand how you feel. Specially after what they did to Tactics Ogre. Well yeah, they also have the freedom to not re-imagine anything, which is a perfectly valid approach to games that might hold up with a facelift and some qol changes. I guess it's the problem with my expectation with the word remake and not remaster.Īnd maybe I just don't like 1st front mission but I do remember front mission 2. I think I did play this game somewhere but damn, I feel like I'm playing an old game from 20-30 years ago. There are many Front Mission kind of game that came out recently Like Fire Emblem or Advance Wars, Front Mission 1st: Remake’s combat plays out across a square grid where units move into firing range, attack, land a hit (or not), and then regroup. They have a freedom to re-imagine however they want as long as the soul is still there. Play in modern mode with new features or experience the original gameplay. ![]() It's remake, not remaster or definitive edition.
